Training
Melissa began her aesthetics training in 2016 and built her foundation under a well-respected physician. What started as an apprenticeship evolved into years of hands-on experience: assisting in trainings, co-hosting advanced injector workshops, and regularly attending national conferences like CAAM. Her ongoing education includes conferences and events, educational and safety-focused clinical workshops to stay on top of best practices.

Shauna completed her initial aesthetics training through THMA and has continued to expand her expertise through cadaver labs, conferences and events, and hands on mentorship. With a strong background in nursing and patient care, she brings a calm, detailed, and thoughtful approach to every consultation.
A Friendship Built in Nursing
We met back in 2011 while in nursing school, and we’ve been close ever since. Over the years, we’ve worked side-by-side in hospitals, traveled together, and supported COVID response efforts across Ontario. Our work at SkinfluenceRN is rooted in that shared history - clinical excellence, trust, and a deep understanding of patient care.
Our Consultation Process
We don’t do cookie-cutter treatments. Every client starts with a consultation so we can understand your goals, assess your health history, and create a safe and effective plan. We’re happy to offer a free virtual intro call to talk about options and answer questions before your in-clinic appointment, where we’ll go deeper and consult with our medical director.

Our pricing reflects the value of high-quality care, without the markup you’ll often find elsewhere. We’re able to keep our rates reasonable because;
- We operate independently. There’s no other owner or group taking a cut, which means you’re paying for the treatment, not overhead to pay a big boss on top.
- We work from a private clinical suite. This allows us to maintain a professional, licensed space without the costs of a high-traffic storefront.
- We only offer treatments we stand behind. This also allows us to keep overhead low. No unnecessary add-ons. Just services we trust.
- We operate by appointment only, which allows us to spend more focused time with each client and avoid the costs of running a high-traffic storefront.
